What is a travel system?
A travel system is a pushchair single or double that can accommodate a car seat. Babies travelling in a car seat can be transported undisturbed from car to the pushchair frame with one easy click. Then off you go, without any fuss.
What is the difference between a travel system and a stroller?
A stroller is another word for pushchair. A pushchair / stroller may not have the facility to add a car seat. Travel system means the pushchair has the facility to add a car seat. Kids Kargo travel systems are either sold with a carrycot which converts to a seat unit plus a car seat. It’s optional to but our pushchairs without a car seat. If you already have a car seat, we sell adapters to fit other car seat brands. Please check the list in the car seat section on our website.
Is a travel system necessary?
If you have a car, a travel system is essential for ease & convenience. Whilst baby’s in the car seat, enjoy a stress free transition from car to your pushchair frame. Baby remains undisturbed whilst saving valuable time especially if you have twins or baby & toddler.
If you live in a city, you may not have a car. In this scenario you can purchase a kids Kargo pushchair without the car seat. If you are likely to travel by car occasionally, whether it’s to the airport, train station or even hire a car, a car seat is a necessity. It’s a legal requirement for a child to travel without a car seat. Car seats start from 0-15 months, thereafter some car seats accommodate children from 15 months up to 7 years.
Is it cheaper to buy a travel system?
It’s usually less expensive to purchase the travel system as a bundle deal as opposed to buying separately.
How long do you use a travel system for?
Kids Kargo travel systems are suitable from newborn to approximately 3 years. (15 kg ( 33lb ) Children develop at different stages. If your oldest grows out of the seat unit, we sell a travel board with fixes to the rear of the pushchair helping to rest tired little legs! It can stay on the pushchair when folded.
